The MOUSE in the CAGE

I was thinking to write about this particular thing for quite a while. But every time I stopped because I thought it will be a pretty complex task to pen down. Anyways my sister who herself is a very good writer (but doesn’t write at all) had been the biggest critique in telling me why my writing gets so complex, so that also acted as a deterrent. Anyways let me do this this time.

The entire shit I am going to write next is not a verified truth. Treat it as an outcome of several paragraphs I read, a few videos I saw and a few learned person I talked with. When I summed everything up, some way or other I felt that that there is an incipient coherence that binds all the theories, religions and the expressions which we observe in this 3D world together. I want you to validate that. This is the reason why I will ask you to ponder on the facts and hypothesis. Even if you don’t vouch for them, it will definitely be an interesting read, for sure.

This essay will be on “dimensions”. Yes the dimensions and it’s theory on which Stefan Hawkins is working. Muons, Fermions, string theory and all possible difficult stuff you can think off. But wait don’t get scared away. I will try to elucidate them as possible as I can. 

There are ten dimension in hypothesis and even to a certain extent, proved. Mr. Hawkins is working on 11th dimension which get described in m-theory. But believe me I won’t get to deep into the physics of the things. My sole purpose is to gradually transcends into how life, you & me and how the world around us gets somewhat justified with these higher physics and mathematics. And that might interest you.

Let’s start our journey from the very first dimension and try to build the next one with the previous one. To help you out in doing so, I will jot down a few postulates which will guide you whenever it will get difficult for you. (I have been able to fetch out till 6th dimension. From seventh on wards, it needed huge mathematical work-through which I wasn’t able to understand. I will definitely need some help from my physicist friends to grasp them and come back with some better understanding).

The postulates that will help us to build and understand the arguments

• All the axis in a particular dimension are orthogonal i.e. perpendicular to each other.
• You can build nth dimension will the help of (n-1)th dimension just by imagining that the nth dimension is made up with points of (n-1)th dimension when we put them on a axis with center as 0 and a positive and a negative arm (take the help of the illustration for a better understanding)

• Any point in an nth dimension space will have to be represented by n co-ordinates. For example to define a point in 4D space we need (x,y,z,t) i.e. 4 co-ordinates

(Enough for a sane worldly mind)

Now imagine a complete void. Draw a line with a point at its center and name it zero. Put infinite points on the right hand side of the point zero but on the line and mark them 1, 2, 3, …This completes your positive axis and do the similar stuff on the left hand side to build the negative axis. (i.e. with -1, -2, -3…). This is your construct in one dimension. Now we will construct all the other dimensions with the help of the postulates as mentioned above but one by one. Imagine two dimension. X-axis and Y-axis, orthogonal to each other. Each point can be described by two co-ordinates (x,y). Brilliant, you recollected it right from your school days. For the second postulate imagine piling up that infinite line (which we built while constructing the one dimension) one above another till it makes an infinite plane. This constructed your second dimension. Now try imagining and constructing the third dimension with two dimension. Several pages stacked upon one another build a 3Dimension space. Each point described by 3 co-ordinates (x,y,z). All three axis orthogonal. Brilliant!!! Pretty easy as of now. Lets constructs the fourth dimension. Piling up many 3D points on a line with zero at the center and positive axis on its right and negative axis on its left. Ahhh!! Now its getting clumsy. Let me help you out. Imagine when you were born. You physical appearance in terms of height, width and length (read x,y,z). Now again imagine your physical appearance when you were one years old. Put that on right side beside the one what you have imagined when you were just born. Likewise imagine for each of the years and put them right to the previous ones. You are getting the right positive axis of fourth dimension! Construct the negative axis with the appearances from your previous birth. Voila!! You yourself have constructed the fourth dimension from third dimension. (If you have watched Interstellar, you will relate to what I am talking about. It’s nothing but the tesseract. A three dimension representation of 4th dimension. It gets very difficult for the human mind to imagine anything outside 3 dimension. So tesseract was constructed by scientist in three dimension space to undetsand 4th dimension. If you remember the hero was travelling across different states of the same room. He was actually travelling through time which was represented from a 3D perspective. Perfect! You got it right. The fourth dimension is the time. Together with space it’s called SPIME) Please cross check the postulates also.

Let’s take another step to understand the fifth dimension. This time you will do it yourself. I will help you to imagine. Imagine the Line where the 3D “you” at your birth is at the center and on the right each point denoted how you look at different particular ages. Suppose you are at a point 29.  At this point it represents you how you look at an age of 29. Now suppose this line ends to a point where you become a big singer at say 80. Come back at the point 29. Imagine you are fighting hard to become a good singer and don’t even know whether you will become. All of a sudden at that 29th point you decide that “dude I think I can become a better footballer” and you start preparing hard, harder and hardest to become someone from the likes of Messi. An eventually you die at 80 being the best footballer of Argentina. Now imagine you could have decided to become a mass murderer or a goon or whatever and in each cases your end state would have been different. This possibility to infinite end stage can be from any point. It should not necessarily be 29. Even at zero. Which means if you are born in a slum in Brazil you can also become a drug lord or a footballer as good as Pele. Now we are talking about a space called “probabilistic phase”. Zip you entire life into a point and put them on an axis with center and positive axis and negative axis. You get all possible births and all possible ends. This proves whatever you decide at whatever point you can achieve that. (Pretty inspirational huh! Please note to check all the points in the postulates. This will even give you a clearer understanding)

Let’s construct the last one. Till Phase space i.e. Fifth dimension everything is concerned with the self being of the organism. The sixth dimension brings in the exteriority of the organisms. Like the world in which all these possibilities were discussed in the previous dimensions your external world was this earth. Now imagine that line in fifth dimension which you constructed and pile up several line on top of that and below than that. Each line representing “YOU” in a different world. May be a world where instead of trees and lakes there are only candies, jelly and chocolate. May be a world where time is too lazy. A verse of its own kind. Here comes the system which scientist often name as the “Multiverse”. We live in a particular verse called earth and hence comes the word called “UNI”verse. The rest of the understanding is for your brain. Imagine how it can be constructed with the postulates.

Just for the sake of information the seventh dimensions talks about God. Its called the cosmological phase and things next to that got too complex for me. If I get to understand them, I will definitely let you know for sure or if you know them help me out. Till then happy imagining, happy thinking and be in the best possible happy feeling.
